The New England Clean Power Link: 100% Hydro Bid Executive Summary
In collaboration with Hydro-Québec, TDI-NE submitted a proposal to supply the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with 1,000 MW hydropower sourced from the existing Hydro-Québec system and delivered over the NECPL.

The New England Clean Power Link: Hydro and Wind Bid Executive
Summary
In collaboration with Hydro-Québec, Boralex and Gaz Métro, TDI-NE submitted a proposal to supply the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with 700 MW of hydropower sourced from the Hydro-Québec system and 300 MW of wind from a new wind farm that will be constructed by Boralex and Gaz Métro, firmed by hydropower supplied by Hydro-Québec, and delivered over the NECPL.

New England Clean Power Link Prepares for Construction with Geotech Investigations
TDI-NE conducted geotech investigation activities at 194 locations along the 54 mile overland portion of the Project from Benson, VT to Ludlow, VT. These pre-construction activities are important to complete the final design and refine the construction techniques.

A new economic analysis completed by Power Advisory concludes that
new sources of reliable, affordable clean electricity delivered to Massachusetts would yield more than $170 million in annual net energy savings while covering the cost of infrastructure investments
The study was commissioned by the Massachusetts Clean Electricity Partnership (MCEP), a coalition of regional wind, hydro and transmission companies who are working with business, consumer, environmental, and governmental stakeholders to support adoption of new laws that enable long-term access to clean electricity.

Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island Issue Clean Energy RFP
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, Eversource Energy, National Grid and Unitil have developed a Final Clean Energy RFP in order to identify projects that will advance the clean energy goals of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. TDI-NE expects to submit a response to this RFP at the end of January, 2016.

TDI New England Commences Open Solicitation for
Transmission Capacity on the New England Clean Power Link Project
TDI New England today announced that the Open Solicitation process for transmission capacity on its proposed New England Clean Power Link project has commenced.

TDI Lake Champlain Symposium Presentations
On October 9, 2014 TDI New England held a Lake Symposium that focused on the Lake Champlain portion of the proposed New England Clean Power Link. The following preliminary presentations and research were presented at the event. Viewers of the presentations should note that any analysis presented or conclusions drawn are preliminary in nature and subject to revision based upon further investigation and review.

TDI New England Announces Open House Meetings in Vermont
TDI New England has scheduled 6 open house meetings towns along the proposed overland section of the route to provide information and answer questions about the buried transmission project. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The New England
Clean Power Link Receives Presidential Permit

The United States Department of Energy issued a Presidential Permit for the New England Clean Power Link. A Presidential Permit is required for the construction, operation and maintenance of electric facilities connecting at the international borders of the United States.

State of Vermont
issues VT Siting Permit

The Vermont Public Service Board ("PSB") has issued the project a Certificate of Public Good, the comprehensive state siting approval needed to construct and to operate the project in the state. You can review the certificate here and the Final Order here.
